We have been providing the world with Sikh multimedia content for almost a decade through the internet. We were the first website to store a huge database of keertan to share without charge and provide high quality videos to download that were nowhere else to be seen on the internet. Not only that, our team travels up and down the country as well as around Europe to cover events without charge and upload photos and kirtan straight away often within 24 hours. But we do a lot more than that as well. In addition, we provide the following as seva (free service):

Now, we need your help for us to continue expanding and getting better at what we do. SikhRoots is a non-profit organisation and everyone involved in the project are volunteers who are passionate about spreading the teachings of Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee to the masses through this new age media. By donating to Sikhroots you can do your bit and join us to do some good in this world. It was Guru Amar Das Jee who started the concept of Dasvandh - recognising all that God has given us and giving back 10% of your earnings for some good. We aren't asking for great amounts, just whatever you can afford to help us keep going. It doesn't go in our pockets, but back into the community projects that SikhRoots does and every penny donated will be published online and the accounts will be fully transparent.
The server that the website runs on costs in excess of £140 GBP per month and as more and more people log on, the more the costs go up. There are other costs on top of that per annum for domain names, hardware and software.
