Akshay Kumar and Giani Ragbir Singh Divan

Akshay Kumar, was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He was raised in Delhi and Mumbai.

Kumar claims he is a devout Sikh and that he is dedicated to the Sikh community. After making movies starring Punjabi characters, he said he was proud to do the community justice.
